Andrew Mnkhwamba, BSc
Research Assistant
Environmental Health practitioner with experience in research, WASH monitoring in various community settings such as schools, hospitals, communities and camps for disaster victims; health education and promotion and contact tracing for emerging diseases. Andrew holds a BSc in Environmental Health from University of Malawi – The Polytechnic, and is currently pursuing Master of Science in Environmental Health at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). He has an interest in safe water management; behavior change towards WASH and environmental sanitation. While at WASHTED, Andrew has worked in projects such as Sustainable Plastic Attitude to benefit Communities and their Environments (SPACES), Hygiene features and Guardian Waiting Shelters (GWS). He is currently working in NIHR funded project focusing on the role of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) on adolescent health and wellbeing.
