Kondwani Chidziwisano, PhD
Research Fellow and Lecturer
Research Fellow and Lecturer at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), department of Environmental Health. Kondwani holds a PhD in Social and Behavioural Sciences from University of Strathclyde, Scotland. His recent research work include: the Sanitation and Hygiene Applied Research for Equity (SHARE) and the Drivers of Antimicrobial Resistance in Uganda and Malawi (DRUM) Project. He is currently working on a research project to improve Hygiene in Guardian Waiting Shelters and Communities in Malawi and is part of a team of technical advisors under the COVID – 19 hygiene hub that plays an advisory role on the COVID19 pandemic to governments and organizations. Kondwani is focused on promoting the importance of transdisciplinary research in addressing sustainable development for all. His research interests focus on understanding the Behavioural and Environmental Health determinants in households, communities and institutions in low- and middle-income settings.
