From August 25–31, 2024, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Global Health Research Group (GHRG) held its Annual Consortium Meeting in Lilongwe, Malawi. This gathering brought together researchers from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS), Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), and the University of Strathclyde, alongside key stakeholders, policymakers, and partners.
The week-long event served as a platform for fostering collaboration, sharing groundbreaking insights, and strengthening our unified mission to advance adolescent health and wellbeing in Malawi. Through discussions and strategic planning, the consortium reaffirmed its commitment to addressing critical challenges in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) to make a lasting impact in Malawi and beyond.
