Everyone can be a handwashing hero. So can everyone be a champion of change.
Through the NIHR-GHRG on Adolescent Health & Wellbeing in Malawi Group on Improving Adolescent Health and Wellbeing in Malawi, WASHTED is implementing a participatory handwashing-with-soap intervention for primary school learners in Mchinji.
Co-developed with adolescent and adult stakeholders, the initiative empowers learners to become handwashing heroes, promoting good hygiene in schools, homes and communities.
With soap, clean water and supportive environments,
we can make handwashing a daily habit for learners.
