Women in Research, Driving Change for Malawi!
WASHTED was represented by Mindy Panulo at the Women in Health Research in Malawi Annual General Conference and Meeting, which brought together women researchers from diverse health disciplines on 30 October at the UNC Project Conference Centre in Lilongwe.
Under the theme “Women Innovating Sustainable Health Solutions for Malawi 2063,” the conference highlighted the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and research that informs policy and improves service delivery.
The event also provided an opportunity to network with fellow female researchers working across diverse areas of health, exchange experiences, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
One powerful takeaway: “Visibility is not vanity.” Women’s research must be seen, shared, and used to drive meaningful change.
At WASHTED, we celebrate women advancing research to improve water, sanitation, hygiene, and public health.
