It’s First-Year Orientation Week at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS)! As we welcome a new cohort of students, WASHTED is committed to laying the foundation for their academic success and overall well-being.
Recognizing that good health is the cornerstone of quality education, WASHTED through its staff, Taonga Kumwenda and Shadrick Masulani facilitated an educative session on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). The session addressed critical topics such as proper toilet usage, water safety, waste management, food hygiene, hand hygiene, and personal hygiene.
Through this session, WASHTED provided students with essential knowledge and practical skills to adopt and promote effective WASH practices. These practices not only contribute to personal health but also enhance the resilience and well-being of the entire MUBAS community.
